Water storage tanks come in many different sizes and like most of our tanks, are customized to individual needs. Water storage is needed in areas with scarce water resources, like dry and arid regions.
A water reservoir is artificial holding area used to store, regulate, or control water. Generally, reservoirs have a greater diameter than height, and standpipes have a greater height than diameter. These tanks usually hold potable water, water that is safe for drinking and cooking.
Similar to the other storage options, standpipes are used for municipal and rural potable water storage as well as industrial process water and fire protection water storage.
